Letta Mae Baird, 87, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 10, 2015. She was born on May 29, 1928 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Samuel George Devore and Edna Devore.   Letta Mae enjoyed being a pastor's wife, raising her family, involved in all the church activities with her family and church family, playing the piano, cooking at the church camps, and later in life she enjoyed working at the local Thrift Store in Grove, OK. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Martin Baird, and her 5 brothers.  Letta Mae is survived by her sons, Dale E. Baird and his wife Lois of Bronaugh, MO, David E. Baird and his wife Terri of Grove, OK, and Dwayne E. Baird and his significant other Sherri of Ashville, NC; 10 grandchildren, Lisa, Leticia, Caleb, Natasha, Rusty Delanie, David II, Brooklyn, Mandalynn, and Skyler; 14 great-grandchildren, Breanna, Cassandra, Jeffery, Zachery, Brent, Bryan, Raley, Kelsey, Katie, Dakota, Serena, Killian, Marianna, and Blakely; one great-great grandchild, Bentley; niece, Carol Schultz and husband Harry; her dear friends Leta, and Joyce; numerous family and friends. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm, at Grand Lake Funeral Home Chapel, 722 N. 46th St., Grove, OK, 74344. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 10:00am, October 14, 2015 at Grand Lake Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Paslay officiating. Burial will be at Old Olympus Cemetery, Grove, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Grand Lake Funeral Home, Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Funeral Director and Staff.
