OBITUARY: BERTIE LOUISE KINNAMAN - LUGINBUEL FUNERAL HOME, GROVE, OK

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261.. Bertie Louise Kinnaman, age 101, Grove, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the Grove Nursing Center, Grove. She was born June 24, 1917 in Lamar, OK, to the late John Hawthorne and Pearl Wilcox Hawthorne.  Bertie married Wesley Kinnaman on July 18, 1936 at Holdenville, OK. He preceded her death on November 13, 2001. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Kinnaman; one daughter, Mary Terry; two brothers, Bill Hawthorne, and Huey Hawthorne; one sister, Alma Morris.

She was an all star basketball player for and graduated from the Lamar High school. Bertie along with her husband operated their own farm for many years. They moved to the grove area in 2000. She retired from working for McDonald- Douglas Aeronautics. 
Survivors include one son, Win Kinnaman and wife, Joyce, Grove; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and seventeen great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 29, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Harbor Baptist Church. Pastor Ray Melugin will officiate. The family will receive friends from9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.  Burial will follow in Buzzard Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Grace Harbor Baptist Church Building Fund, may be left in care of the funeral home.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Worley- Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
