Obituary:  Lillian Alice (Boyles) Pulis - Ellis Family Funeral Home, Grove, OK

OCTOBER 28, 1924 ~ AUGUST 29, 2015 (AGE 90)

Lillian Alice Pulis, 90, passed away on August 29, 2015 at the Betty Ann Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. Lillian was born on October 28, 1924 in Clearwater, Kansas. She was the daughter of Donald and Florence (Bowman) Boyles. Lillian was united in marriage to John Pulis in Anadarko, Oklahoma in 1949. Lillian worked for the Delaware County Friends Homes as the Assistant Director. She enjoyed crocheting. She was very involved with the Special Olympics. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, her sister Marjorie Patrick, and three brothers Bud Boyles, Jerry Price and Harold Price. She is survived by her five children; Martha Miller of Jacksonville, Florida, Wayne Pulis and his wife Sonja of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Phyllis Fulfer and her husband Les of Macclenny, Florida, Jeff Pulis of Grove, Oklahoma and Rusty Pulis of Vinita, Oklahoma. Lillian is also survived by one sister Doris Robbins of Cheney, Kansas. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren Eric Shubrooks, Angeline Silfies, John Roberts, Denise Branson, Seth Roberts, Michael Fulfer, Matt Pulis, Jeremy Fulfer, Kasi McCully, Kelci Pulis; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8PM, Monday, August 31, 2015 at Ellis Family Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Olympus Cemetery with Chaplain Larry Moore officiating. Memorial donations can be made to: Fountain House Group Home, 403 S. Smith Street, Vinita, Oklahoma 74331.  Services are under the direction of Ellis Family Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
