Boat or Ship

BOAT OR SHIP - Boats represent a voyage; your crossing over to the other side.  Ships are usually found on the graves of sailors.  They sometimes symbolize Noah's Ark, the ship that weathered the storm against all overwhelming odds and carried God's faithful to safety.  Jesus' calming of the storm also helped to make the boat a symbol of safety and refuge.
