Ferra Aerospace breaks ground on $6 million facility in Grove
Ferra Aerospace, an Australian based company, plans to expand its presence in Grove, OK with the construction of a $6 million facility. The $6 million includes $3 million on the building with an additional $3 million for infrastructure and employee training. They are currently leasing warehouse space from Pride Plating located in Grove's Industrial Park. Their new facility will be located along Highway 10 East of Grove, next to the Second Chance Pet Rescue (Humane Society).
At the ground-breaking ceremony on Tuesday, December 14, 2015, Ferra representatives announced the company's plan to expand by adding 12-15 jobs in 2016, and up to 100 jobs by 2020; these jobs will be good-quality jobs with benefits. Ferra currently has 10 employees in Grove.
