During a special meeting GMSA Board members reviewed and discussed the February invoice from Constellation, whom GMSA purchases natural gas for the gas utility.  The February bill includes the gas that was purchased during the extreme winter weather event on the spot market and identified on the invoice as 'Incremental Gas Costs'.

The City of Grove/GMSA has received notification that this morning Southern Star has released their Operational Flow Order (OFO) for the transmission pipeline that delivers gas to our system.  In general, this action opens the transmission line to move gas more freely and without the restrictions that were implemented this past week because of the overwhelming demand for capacity on their line.

GMSA accepts LIHEAP payments towards gas utility bills. Be sure to submit an application to OKDHS to find out if you are eligible.
Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) will begin taking applications online at www.okdhslive.org on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 for FFY 2021 Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Winter Heating Program.

The proposed Principles and Policies have been created by community residents during a series of Open Houses, community surveys, and focus group meetings.  The purpose of the Public Review is to clearly identify and establish the community’s vision for the Principles and Policies of the City of Grove Comprehensive Plan.
