Bells

BELLS -  Are message carriers.  The sound of the bell creates a message from earth to heaven above.  Bells ringing are rites of passage to proclaim that the righteous or worthy have passed from the earthly plane to their heavenly station in heaven.

Bells also symbolize guidance as ships and boats sound their "bells" when sailing through fog to announce their location to other boats or ships.

Nurse, Registered (RN)

REGISTERED NURSE (RN) -  There are approximately 3.1 million active registered nurses in the United States.  In the US, a registered nurse is a clinician who has completed at least an associate degree in nursing or a hospital-based diploma program.  The RN has successfully completed the NCLEX-RN examination for initial licensure.  Associate degrees in nursing frequently take three years to complete because of the increased volume of undergraduate coursework related to the profession of nursing.

Peace Pipe

PEACE PIPE -  The meaning of the broken arrow symbol was to signify peace.  A Peace treaty or covenant was signed with due ceremony.  A ceremonial smoking pipe, called a Calumet, was often used to seal a peace treaty, hence the term 'Peace Pipe'.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI)

OKLAHOMA STATE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION (OSBI) -  In the early 1920's, gangs of outlaws roamed the state terrorizing the citizens of many Oklahoma towns.  These gangsters often escaped lawmen by fleeing across county lines.  The U.S. Marshal's Service was the only law enforcement agency with statewide jurisdiction, but its officers were outnumbered by the bandits.  In 1925, Governor M.E. Trapp recommended the creation of an agency of special investigators to combat the outlaws.

Fraternal Order of Police (FOP)

FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE (FOP) -  According to the FOP; the five-cornered star tends to remind us of the allegiance we owe to our Flag and is a symbol of the authority with which we are entrusted. It is an honor the people we serve bestow upon us.  Midway between the points and center of the star is a blue field representative of the thin blue line protecting those we serve.  The points are of gold, which indicates the position under which we are now serving.  The background is white, the unstained color representing the purity with which we should serve.

Feathers

FEATHERS -  In the Bible, feathers speak metaphorically of protection and loving care given to us by our Holy Father:

(KJV Ruth 2:12) - The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of theLord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

(KJV Matthew 23:37) -  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
