City Treasurer

The City of Grove operates under a Council - Manager Statutory form of government, whereby the Treasurer serves as the Chief Financial Officer.  The City Treasurer is appointed by the City Council and is selected solely on the basis of financial and administrative qualifications.

As the Chief Financial Officer, the City treasurer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, insuring financial stability and fostering sound financial management practices.

The City Treasure works with the City Manager to create and implement the annual budget for the City of Grove, Grove Municipal Services Authority and other trusts within the organization.

Lisa began her career at the City of Grove as a Utility Clerk in April 2001, just one year later, she was appointed as the City Treasurer by the Mayor and Council in April 2002.

Lisa graduated from Bartlesville High School in Barlesville, OK.  She graduated from Northeastern State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Lisa is currently attending Missouri Southern State University working towards a bachelor's degree in Accounting.  Her goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant.
