U. S. ARMY 30TH INFANTRY DIVISION (OLD HICKORY) -  This is today's 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team.  The 30th Infantry Division was a unit of the Army National Guard in World War I and World War II.  It was nicknamed the "Old Hickory" division, in honor of President Andrew Jackson.  The Germans nicknamed this division "Roosevelt's SS.".   The 30th Infantry Division was regarded by SLA Marshall as the number one infantry division in the European Theater of Operations (ETO), involved in 282 days of intense combat over a period from June 1944 through April 1945.

U. S. ARMY 29TH INFANTRY DIVISION (BLUE AND GRAY) -  The 29th Infantry Division (29th I.D.), also known as the "Blue and Gray",  is an infantry division of the United States Army based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  It is a formation of the United States Army National Guard and contains units from Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.

U. S. ARMY 25TH INFANTRY DIVISION (TROPIC LIGHTNING) - The 25th Infantry Division (nicknamed "Tropic Lightning" or "Electric Strawberry", and the "Củ Chi National Guard" during the Vietnam War) is a U.S. Army division based in Hawaii.  The division, which was activated on October 1, 1941 in Hawaii, conducts military operations in the Asia-Pacific region.  Its present deployment is composed of Stryker, light infantry, airborne, and aviation units.

U. S. ARMY 24TH INFANTRY DIVISION (VICTORY DIVISION) - The 24th Infantry Division was an infantry division of the United States Army.  It was inactivated in October 1996, it was based at Fort Stewart, Georgia and later reactivated at Fort Riley, Kansas.  Formed during World War II from the disbanding Hawaiian Division, the division saw action throughout the Pacific theater, first fighting in New Guinea before landing on the Philippine islands of Leyte and Luzon, driving Japanese forces from them.

U. S. ARMY 14TH ARMORED CAVALRY REGIMENT - The 14th Cavalry Regiment is a cavalry regiment of the United States Army.  It has two squadrons that provide reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition for Stryker brigade combat teams.   Constituted in 1901, it has served in conflicts from the Philippine-American War to the Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

U. S. ARMY 10TH ARMORED DIVISION (TIGER) -  The 10th Armored Division (nicknamed "Tiger Division") was an armored division of the United States Army in World War II.  In the European Theater of Operations the 10th Armored Division was part of both the Twelfth United States Army Group and Sixth United States Army Group.  Originally assigned to the Third United States Army under General George S. Patton, it saw action with the Seventh United States Army under General Alexander Patch near the conclusion of the war.

UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS 4TH MARINE DIVISION (THE NEW BREED) -  The 4th Marine Division is a reserve division in the United States Marine Corps.  It is the ground combat element of the Marine Forces Reserve and is headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana and has units throughout the United States.

U. S. MARINE CORPS 1ST MARINE DIVISION (THE OLD BREED) -  The 1st Marine Division is a Marine infantry division of the United States Marine Corps headquartered at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California.  It is the ground combat element of the I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF).  It is the oldest and largest active duty division in the United States Marine Corps, representing a combat-ready force of more than 19,000 men and women.  It is one of three active duty divisions in the Marine Corps today and is a multi-role, expeditionary ground combat force.

U. S. ARMY 10TH MOUNTAIN DIVISION (MOUNTAINEER) -  The 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) is a light infantry division in the United States Army based at Fort Drum, New York.  Originally constituted as a mountain warfare unit, the division was the only one of its size to receive intense specialized training for fighting in mountainous and arctic conditions.  Today, the 10th honors that legacy by retaining the "Mountain" designation.
