Obituary: Helen Pauline (Benigar) Wimberley - Lawson's Funeral Home, Grove, OK

Helen Pauline (Benigar) Wimberley, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born on July 8, 1922, Fayetteville, AR to George Elmer Benigar and Rhoda A. (Cary) Benigar. Helen loved and enjoyed reading, sewing "dolls, doll clothes" and endless items with her sewing machine, crafts, traveling, gardening, and spending quality time with her family, especially family time with her grandchildren, they were the apple of her eye. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, HC Wimberley; son, Stephen H. Wimberley; grandson, Larry Blaine Wimberley, great-great grandson, Gabriel Wimberley. She is survived by her children, Larry Wimberley, and wife Rhonda of Eucha, OK, Marilyn K. Eberle of Jay, OK, David Lee Wimberley and his wife Rebecca of Welch, OK, and Jessy Wimberley and his wife Shirley of Grove, OK; brother, Bob Benigar of Joplin, MO; 17 grandchildren, John Wayne, Shaun, Jesse, Lisa, Mark, Roger, Francis, Bill, Bob, Erin, Chris, Danny, Michael, Nancy, Kelly, Angela, and Kendyll; 42 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, Julies Gabriel Kain Wimberley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Friday, 6-8pm, September 4, 2015 at Grand Lake Funeral Home of Jay, 311 W. Gray Street, Jay, OK 74346. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, 2:00pm, September 5, 2015 at Buzzard Cemetery, Grove, OK. Burial at Buzzard Cemetery, Grove, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaunda J. Lawson, Funeral Director and staff.
