City of Grove recognize employees - 125 Years of Service

The City of Grove's biggest asset is their employees.  Grove is fortunate to have such a tenured group of employees.  

This group brings 125 years of service to the City of Grove:

2nd Chance Christmas Breakfast December 8

The Second Chance Pet Rescue will hold its Annual Christmas Breakfast & Dessert Auction on December 8 at the Grove Community Center beginning at 9 a.m.

Combat Veterans State Meeting in Grove May 3-5

The annual Combat Veteran's State Meeting will be held in Grove May 3, 4, and 5, 2019.

80th Annual REC Day September 15 at Grove Civic Center

REC celebrates 80 years of service.  Members may register and vote at REC Day from 8 a.m. - noon.

Members have a chance at winning some great prizes, with the Grand Prizes being a 2018 John Deer Gator TE.  Members do not have to be present to win.

There will be country and bluegrass music performed by Paul Bogart and Southband Muule. 

Barbecue pork sandwiches will be served.

Bring the kids and let them register for a chance to win a new bicycle.  Plus they can burn some energy in the KIDZONE!

City Council Special Meeting/Work Session August 22

Grove City Council will hold a Special Meeting 'Work Session' to discuss new Medical Marijuana and Alcohol Laws.  The purpose of the meeting is to provide staff the opportunity to present proposed Ordinances regarding these subjects to the Council for their review.  There will be no official action taken during the work session, instead the proposed Ordinances will be an agenda action item at a Public Meeting at a later date.
