September 19, 2018 is the deadline for submitting comments to FEMA.

Wondering if Wolf Creek Park ramps are open?

                                  Wolf Creek Park is being used for several summer events. 

 

Listed below are the dates for upcoming events and the status of the ramps during the events.

Big Bass Bash - June 9 and 10.  Ramps will be OPEN.  Anglers will be launching at day break causing the ramps to be congested.

Thunder on Wolf Creek - June 29 - July 1.  Ramps will be CLOSED to the public.

City of Grove July 3rd Celebration - Ramps will be OPEN, July 2-5, boats may anchor in Wolf Creek or tie to docks.

American Heritage Music Festival - June 7th, 8th & 9th

Grand Savings Bank - Free Shred Day April 20th

Grand Savings Bank will be hosting a document "Shred Day" on April 20th beginning at 10:00 a.m., it will last until the truck is full.  This service is FREE.

Emergency Drill at Lower & Upper Elementary Schools on March 29

Thursday, March 29, Grove Public Schools, along with emergency services including police, fire, emergency management and EMS, will conduct a drill at the Lower and Upper Elementary Schools.

The drill will begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. and last about 2 hours.  Some students will be evacuated from the Lower and Upper Elementary Schools.

GMSA Drive-Thru Closed beginning April 16th for 60-90 days due to construction

 

Beginning Monday, April 16, the South City Hall parking lot  and GMSA drive-thru window will be CLOSED due to construction.  Customer parking will be available in the current employee parking lot located on the west side of the building.  4th Street between Grand and Broadway will also be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday during construction. 

Kevin VanDam WINS 2018 Bassmaster Elite Series

The City of Grove and Grove Convention Tourism Bureau was the proud host of the 2018 Bassmaster Elite Series.  The anglers' launch  and weigh-ins were held at Wolf Creek Park.

Grand Lake has been home to not one, but two Bassmaster Classics (in 2013 and again in 2016). In 2013, Cliff Pace won the Classic with a three-day total of 54 pounds, 12 ounces. Earlier this year, it was Oklahoma’s own Edwin Evers earning a Classic win with a 60-pound, 7-ounce total.
