Fleet Maintenance
FLEET MAINTENANCE
Fleet Management oversees the preventative maintenance program and is responsible for providing general repairs to all City of Grove and Grove Municipal Services Authority vehicles and equipment. The preventative maintenance program includes replacement services of essential fluids, filters, tire replacement and/or repairs which are based on usage. The preventative maintenance services are performed by the three-man Fleet Maintenance crew.
General repairs consist of transmission replacements, air conditioning repairs, brake repair and replacement, electrical repairs, hydraulic repairs and any additional repairs.
The FLEET consists of
- 92 Road vehicles - Passenger vehicles to tractor/trailer units
- 91 Off-Road equipment - Lawn mowers to heavy earth moving equipment
- 14 Trailers - Cargo, Utility, semi dump ends, heavy equipment
- Plus miscellaneous equipment - chain saws, trimmers, cut-off saws, edgers, leaf blowers, water pumps and generators
