Patrol Division

Grove residents and visitors are provided Police protection 24 hours per day. The Patrol Division is composed of uniformed Police Officers assigned to three major ten hour shifts:

First Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Second Shift: 5:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m.
Third Shift: 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

The mayor functions of the Patrol Division is responding to call for police services, conducting preliminary investigations of crime, accidents and incidents.

Patrol Division officers enforce laws, ordinance and regulations. They also participate in crime prevention and suppression activities though patrol methods, and community policing. Officers attend community functions while on duty in an effort to foster positive community relations.
