School Resource Officers
The Grove Police Department partners with Grove Public Schools and provides two School Resource Officers. The cost of the officers is supplemented by the school district. The School Resource Officer works in the schools five days a week during the school year.
The Officers are responsible for answering calls and taking report at all four campuses. Officers investigate incidents that occur on any of the campuses. The Officers also teach DARE classes to students and instructs other educational programs.
The School Resource Officers also act as an advisor and liaison between the Grove Public School administration and the Police Department.
